This is a very rare, 1971 Insert movie poster for the comedy Bananas starring Woody Allen and Louise Lasser. The early Woody Allen-directed comedy also features cameos by Howard Cosell, Danny DeVito, and Sylvester Stallone. The poster art is by famous cartoonist Jack Davis who helped create Mad Magazine.

The poster measures 14”x36” and was folded when printed in 1971. The poster was in use for various screenings over the years before being stored away. It has been stored flat for many years.

The poster is in very good condition with pinholes in various border areas from hanging (and rehanging), a small spot of tape residue on the right side, and age-appropriate fold wear. It has a small MGM/UA sticker on the bottom right that was placed over the original United Artists studio logo in the early 1980s (probably when this poster was reused at a theater showing a booking of the film).
