Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier (1955)

This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1955 for Walt Disney's Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier starring Fess Parker, Buddy Ebsen, William Bakewell, Basil Ruysdael, Pat Hogan, Mike Mazurki, and Nick Cravat.  Norman Foster directed the classic adventure thriller based on the television series.

The poster measures 27"x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display and minor edge wear from handing. It was folded at the time of printing and had some wear along the folds and cross folds.  The folds are much less prominent after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
