This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1965 for the theatrical release of Walt Disney's Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree featuring the voices of Sterling Holloway, Bruce Reitherman, Ralph Wright, Junius Matthews and narrated by Sebastian Cabot. Wolfgang Reitherman directed the animated short film.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in very good condition with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display and very minor edge and fold wear. It was folded after printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not a stock image. The black circles and square in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This extremely rare and collectible poster, printed in late 1965 to promote the February 1966 theatrical release of Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, is not a reprint or a reproduction.
