Slap Shot (1977)

This is an original, linen-backed, Style A one-sheet movie poster from 1977 for Slap Shot starring Paul Newman, Michael Ontkean, Lindsay Crouse, Jennifer Warren, Jerry Houser, Strother Martin, and Jeff Carlson.  George Roy Hill directed the classic ice hockey comedy.  Craig Nelson is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good to excellent condition prior to restoration with some minor fold wear.  There was an ink theater stamp on the back of the poster that slightly bled through on the upper left white edge.  It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing.  The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
