This is an original, linen-backed, Italian theatrical movie poster from 1963 for Federico Fellini's 8 1/2 starring Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Cardinale, Anouk Aimee, Sandra Milo, Rosella Falk, Barbara Steele, and Madeleine Lebeau. Federico Fellini directed the classic film.
The large fotobusta poster measures 26.75” x 37.5” (similar to a U.S. one sheet) and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in good to very good condition prior to restoration with a few scattered creases, scuffs, and tiny stains from handling and display. It poster was folded at the time of printing and had wear and some small tears on some of the fold lines. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.Please look closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not cropped or a stock image.
This extremely rare and collectible poster, printed in 1963 to promote the initial, Italian theatrical release of 8 1/2, is not a reprint or reproduction.
