Artist: Gary MeyerThis is an original Australian one-sheet movie poster from 1982 for Das Boot (The Boat) starring Jurgen Prochnow, Herbert Gronemeyer, Klaus Wennemann, Hubertus Bengsch, and Martin Semmelrogge. Wolfgang Petersen directed the classic World War II submarine film. Gary Meyer is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27" x 40.25" and is in very good condition with a tiny crease at the bottom edge and minor fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
