This is an original, linen-backed one-sheet movie poster from 1949 for The Big Steal starring Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, William Bendix, Patric Knowles, Ramon Novarro, Don Alvarado, and John Qualen. Don Siegel directed the crime film noir.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in very good condition with minor edge and fold wear and pinholes from theatrical display. The poster was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo as this is the exact poster you are buying. The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
