This is an original, linen-backed, German A1 theatrical movie poster from 1970 for a theatrical re-release of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Lon Chaney Jr., Bela Lugosi, Glenn Strange, Lenore Aubert, Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson, and Vincent Price. Charles T. Barton directed the classic monster comedy. Klaus Dill is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 23” x 33” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good to excellent condition with very minor fold wear. The folds are much less noticeable after backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
