This is an original, Finnish theatrical movie poster from 1961 for The Alamo starring John Wayne, Richard Widmark, Laurence Harvey, Frankie Avalon, Linda Cristal, Chill Wills and Richard Boone. John Wayne also directed the western film.
The poster measures 15.75” x 23.5” and is in good to very good condition with creasing along parts of the edges and a few, tiny tears on the edges from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing however the poster has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1961 to promote the Finnish theatrical release of The Alamo, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
