This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1922 for Penrod starring Wesley Barry (billed as "Freckles Barry"), Tully Marshall, Claire McDowell, John Harron, amd Gordon Griffith. Marshall Neilan and Frank O'Connor directed the silent comedy based on the novel by Booth Tarkington.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good condition with pinholes and some small tears on the edges from theatrical display, somne light surface scuffs and smudges, and areas of light fold wear. The folds are less prominant after restoration.
